Carolina Teixeira is a brazilian artist and researcher. She was born in Natal city, Rio Grande do Norte state.

She is a political activist, performer, dancer and choreographer. Her fields concerns about Disability Culture and Studies and Aesthetic of Disabled bodies. Carolina is a PhD in Performing Arts by Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. Her investigations was concluded in 2016 by institutional cooperation between Dance Department of Oberlin College, Ohio / US and Federal University of Bahia.
